Shoals & Waves on the Wild Atlantic Way

One of our lovely shops Etain Hickey, in Clonakilty recently asked me to participate in an exhibition entitled Shoals & Waves on the Wild Atlantic Way.

I had a bit of a think about the show title, and the recurring thoughts were scales, fish scales, and lots of them.  And hot pink, yes, neon is really the colour of the season!

The exhibition also features new Ceramics from Sinead Glynn who won the Etain Hickey Award for Surface Decoration at the 2013 Irish Contemporary Awards.  Roisin Ni Chionnfhaolaidh Glass, Paddy McCormack Metalwork, Thomas Wholen Ceramics, Anne Harrington-Rees Textiles, Muriel Hoey Automata, Marleen Drijkoningen Willow weaving & Jim Turner Ceramics are also participating.  I would highly recommend dropping in and checking it out if you’re in the area at;
